11.30-13.00 Plenary discussion: What kind of future there can be for Belarus? Challenges and possibilities in the contemporary situation
The political crisis of 2020 led to irreversible changes in Belarusian society, which affected almost all spheres of life - from politics and economics, to science, art and culture. The process of profound change is far from over and political institutions, government and society are only at the beginning of the search for a new balance.
Over the past year, there has been no deficit in either optimistic or pessimistic forecasts for the country's development. At the same time, different political forces understand very differently what is "good"
for the country. The proposed panel will try to prove the questions: What can be the future of Belarus, what changes can be considered inevitable? How political, social and economic institutions can be
reformed? If reforms can happen, under what conditions and how?
